Nature Cell Biology publishes manuscripts that relate to all aspects of cancer biology, ranging from (but not limited to) cellular and molecular mechanisms of cancer, mechanisms of tumour initiation, progression, and metastasis, roles of the tumour microenvironment and experimental models of cancer. Translational and clinically-oriented manuscripts are of interest to the journal if they focus on cancer biology mechanisms, for example mechanisms of therapeutic action and resistance.
