The editorial board of the npj-Journal of Sustainable Mobility and Transport is pleased to announce a call for papers for a collection focusing on the integration of power grids and electric mobility systems within the context of transport sustainability. This special issue aims to publish high-quality research articles that address the challenges, advancements, and opportunities at the intersection of power grids and electric mobility, with a specific emphasis on promoting sustainable transportation.
All papers should follow the aims and scope of the journal. In this collection, we welcome original research contributions focusing, but not limited to, the following topics:
Integration of renewable energy sources for electric mobility
Electric Vehicle Infrastructure and Sustainable Charging
Deployment strategies for sustainable charging station networks
Energy storage solutions to enhance the sustainability of electric vehicle charging
Grid Resilience and Reliability in the face of growing electric mobility
Enhancing grid stability with intermittent renewable sources from the mobility sector
Resilience to electric vehicle charging demand fluctuations
Regulatory challenges and opportunities for electric grids and transport
Incentives and policy frameworks to promote the integration of power grids and electric mobility

(Review papers are also possible as long as they are on the topic.)
Submission Guidelines:
Authors are invited to submit original manuscripts adhering to the guidelines provided by npj-Journal of Sustainable Mobility and Transport. All submitted papers will undergo a rigorous peer-review process.
The papers will be handled by the editorial board of the journal.
Papers will be handled as they come therefore the publication will be guaranteed once the paper is peer-reviewed and accepted by the peers.
