Corneal Disease

corneal_disease

Corneal and external eye disease is a fascinating sub-specialty of ophthalmology. Dramatic Improvements have occurred in conditions such as the management of keratoconus and dry eye. Compared to retinal diseases, corneal and external diseases have an additional burden of pain as well as visual impairment. They are therefore important to treat. In this web focus we highlight recent publications in Eye which demonstrate innovative approaches to treating corneal diseases.
