We note and appreciate the improvements in the severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome virus (SFTSV) L structure that are presented by S. Cusack and M. Rosenthal1 based on the high-quality cryogenic electron microscopy (cryo-EM) density reported in our manuscript2.
