Special Issue: Caenorhabditis elegans genetics and biology

Research using Caenorhabditis elegans continues to impact our understanding of organismal biology and evolution tremendously. This special issue follows the inaugural UK Worm Meetings organised under the Genetics Society’s C. elegans Special Interest Group. Every year, scientists from across the United Kingdom and beyond present the latest C. elegans research, covering diverse topics from evolutionary biology to the biology of ageing, regulation of gene expression, cell biology, microbiome, heritable phenotypes and many more. In order to share some of this great work with the wider community of Heredity readership, we are calling for papers that use C. elegans genetics as a system to answer biological questions.
