Brownian motions of flexible polymer chains

Abstract

The dynamics of flexible chains in solutions and in melts has recently been investigated using photon beat methods, inelastic scattering of neutrons, and also the stimulated Rayleigh effect. Relatively simple scaling laws have emerged, but some features of entangled systems remain unexplained.
