Effect of insulin on (Na+, K+)-activated adenosine triphosphatase activity in rat muscle sarcolemma

Abstract

THE existence of (Na+, K+)-activated adenosine triphosphatase (ATPase)1,2 supports a molecular explanation for the active transport of sodium and potassium ions through cell membranes3.
