Abstract
The majority of brains affected by multiple sclerosis are found to contain significantly greater concentrations of gamma2 globulin (γG) than apparently normal brains. Because the concentrations of albumin are similar, it may be that γG is synthesized in the central nervous tissue of some patients with multiple sclerosis.
