Abstract
OBSBRVATIONS made previously at Jodrell Bank with long base-line interferometers1 have indicated that a small percentage of 384 sources examined with these interferometers have angular sizes of less than 1.0 sec of arc. Six were found to have fringe visibilities (γ) > 0.8 for transit observations with an east–west base-line of 61,100 wave-lengths.
