Abstract
IN the investigation of amino-acid activating enzymes in various tissues, aspartic acid activating enzyme has been found1,2. Although several other activating enzymes have been purified3–5, the aspartic enzyme has not so far been isolated. This communication describes a simple procedure for isolating the enzyme from bakers' yeast.
