Abstract
IN the course of a histochemical examination of the distribution of various enzymes in normal and neo-plastic cervicovaginal epithelium of the mouse it was found consistently that high 5-nucleotidase activity is typical for malignant squamous cells. This histochemical technique can therefore be considered to have definite diagnostic value.
