Abstract
As there appears to be no published account of the great nuisance caused by the invasion of houses in various parts of Africa by Carbula pedalis Begr. (Hemiptera, Pentatomidae), this phenomenon, as observed in Northern Nigeria, together with notes on the behaviour of the species, are presented here.
