Induction of Partial Acquired Tolerance to a Carcinogen

Abstract

GREEN1 postulated inter alia in his immune theory of cancer, that the chemical induction of cancer might produce a specialized immune response in which antibody attack on the protein-bound carcinogen in the cells masked or deleted the tumour-specific antigens.
