Abstract
RECENT reports concerning the importance of oxygen in the process of bone resorption1 raise the question of how oxygen modifies metabolic pathways in bone cells. In this communication some effects of anaerobiasis on glucose and glycine metabolism by metaphyseal bone from 2-month-old rats are reported.
