Abstract
So far as we are able to ascertain, a study of the catabolism of ascorbic acid in the rhesus monkey (Macacca mulatta) has not been previously reported. We wish to make a preliminary report of the excretion of radioactivity in the expired air and the urine of a monkey following intramuscular injection of L-ascorbic-1-14C acid.
