Abstract
IN the preceding communication it was demonstrated that the mucopolysaccharide content of the blood (normally 83 ± 4 mgm. hexosamine per cent) is decreased in hyperthyreosis (65 mgm. per cent on average) and increased in myxœdema (100 mgm. per cent on average). We have tested these observations on experimental animals.
