Abstract
ACCORDING to the report of the Furunculosis Committee1, this disease is most common among salmonids during the summer, when river-levels are low and when the water temperature lies within the range 55–66° F. The final report of this Committee1 does, however, mention the occurrence of this disease in spawning or spawned salmon “in at least two districts in Scotland”, but no further details are given.
