Abstract
THE acaricidal action of manganous ethylene bisdithiocarbamate (‘Maneb’) has been observed by Rich1 and by Morgan, Anderson and Swales2. Rich noted that ‘Zineb’, the related zinc salt, did not kill any stage of the two-spotted mite, Tetranychus bimaculatus (L.). I have not been able to find any mention in the literature of insecticidal action of either ‘Maneb’ or ‘Zineb’.
