Abstract
THE induction of leukæmia by parenteral inoculation of cell-free brain filtrates has been demonstrated1,2. Speculation as to the natural route of transmission of leukæmia led to the exploration of the leukæmogenic effect of whole brains and cell-free brain filtrates when given orally.
