Abstract
STUDIES by Mead et al. 1 on the metabolic fate of coumarin and related compounds in rabbits showed that o-coumaric acid was partly converted to 4-hydroxycoumarin while coumarin was converted neither to o-coumaric acid nor to 4-hydroxycoumarin.
