Abstract
DAVIDSON et al. 1 reported that the deoxyribonucleic acid phosphorus content is increased above normal in megaloblastic bone marrow. Vilter et al. 2, on the other hand, on the basis mainly of deoxyribonucleic/ribonucleic acid ratios, claimed that megaloblasts are deficient in deoxyribonucleic acid, more specifically in thymine.
