Abstract
FAT is mobilized from the fat depots under various conditions; but the form in which it is delivered to the blood is not known. Investigations have shown that both neutral fat (Carlson, L. A., and Wadström, L. B., unpublished work) and unesterified fatty acids1 are increased in the serum during starvation in man.
