Abstract
DISTILLATIONS and fractionations of milligram quantities of liquids have been carried out successfully by Gettler and Fine1 and Morton and Mahoney2, using somewhat complicated adaptations of the Emich-type tube3. Also using Emich's method, but extending it to work at different pressures, Garcia4 determined the boiling points of 2–3 mm.3 quantities.
