Abstract
WHEN rabbits' blood is defibrinated, the granulocytes, monocytes and platelets adhere to the fibrin fibres and are removed with them. The lymphocytes may then be separated from the red cells by adding dextran1 or fibrinogen2 in solution in normal saline to increase the red-cell sedimentation-rate.
