Abstract
SLOW neutron bombardment of palladium gives rise, among others, to a 13-hour activity which according to Rall1 belongs to palladium-109. This isotope is a β-emitter, and the spectrum has an upper limit of 1·0-1·1 MeV. (cloud chamber, abs.)2. No γ-radiation could be observed to accompany the decay3.
