Abstract
A FEATURE of this book is that about half of it is devoted to concise descriptions of the methods and views of twenty dairy farmers. Six of these farmers are said to be men with a national reputation, seven are well known in their own locality and the remainder are representative examples of the ordinary farmers of Great Britain. The accounts, which cover a wide range of current practice in dairy farming, are readable and enlightening ; and they are illustrated by a useful selection of photographs.
