Abstract
THE antimalarial drug mepacrine—2-chloro-5(δ-diethylamino-α-methylbutyl)amino-7-methoxyacridine, acridine being numbered has—been resolved by Cholintsev and Osetrova1, who obtained [α]D = ± 195° for the free base and [α]D = ± 357° for the dihydrochloride.
