Abstract
THE angular distribution in the scattering of neutrons by protons has been investigated by a number of observers, particularly Dee and Gilbert1, using neutrons with an energy of approximately 2·0 eMv. It is now generally agreed that the scattering is isotropic about the centre of the mass of the colliding particles with neutrons of this energy. We have recently investigated the scattering at much higher energies, using the 8·7 eMv. group of neutrons coming from boron under deuteron bombardment.
