GALLING of the flower buds of certain trees in Australia, notably Eucalyptus rostrata and E. hemiphloia, is sometimes so heavy that no flowers appear, and no honey harvest is reaped. The chief causes of galling are agromyzid flies of the germs Fergusonina, Malloch.
