Abstract
RECENTLY, I had occasion to describe an improved method for the purification of chloropentammine cobaltic chloride, and to note that the product behaved differently from that obtained by the older method, in that it passed into solution much more rapidly1. For this reason, and as previous measurements2 are not very concordant and may in some cases have been carried out with impure materials, a redetermination of the solubility seemed of interest.
