Abstract
THE jubilee of the first Parsons steam turbine and high-speed generator, as we have already noted (NATURE, Jan. 20, p. 97), falls this year. To mark the event, the original turbo-generator, which is preserved appropriately at the National Museum of Science and Industry at South Kensington, has been moved to a prominent position near the main entrance, where it now forms the centre of a special exhibition, which will be continued for several weeks. This also includes copies of the original patent Steam Turbine George V, all vessels of outstanding and King interest.
