Abstract
THE Socie´te´ Helv´tique des Sciences Naturelles will hold, at Geneva, on September 12-15, its ninety-seventh annual session, which will coincide with the hundredth anniversary of its foundation. On account; of the disturbed conditions existing at the present time, the council of the society has decided to celebrate this anniversary very quietly, and not to send the usual invitations to foreign scientific societies, or to men of science residing outside Switzerland.
