Sexual Dimorphism: The Spoonworm

Not all creatures are born with their sex pre-determined by their DNA. Some morph into a female or male based on interactions with their surroundings or the presence of the members of their opposite sex. Alysse Austin, a junior in Casey Dunn's Invertebrate Zoology course (Biol 0410) at Brown University, describes sexual dimorphism in the green spoonworm.
