Findings from two new clinical trials — BrigHTN and PRECISION — that assessed the blood pressure-lowering effects of the aldosterone synthase inhibitor baxdrostat and the dual endothelin receptor antagonist aprocitentan, respectively, suggest these approaches hold promise for patients with treatment-resistant hypertension.
