Faculty Positions in Genomics Kolkata, India
The TCG-ISI Centre for Population Genomics (CpG) of the Institute of Molecular Medicine (IMM) Kolkata, India, a not-for-profit research institute recognized by the Government of India, is engaged in basic and translational research in human genomics.
CpGs focus is to decipher the genomic architectures of common diseases, including estimation of genotype-environment interactions, identification of genomic changes and understand the genetic basis of inter-individual variability in response to drugs and vaccines.
CpG has collaborations with the top scientific organizations in India and abroad; and offers a highly professional and challenging work environment.
CpG is looking for PhD candidates having strong research interest in human genomics, including functional and statistical genomics with capabilities to handle research independently. The candidates must have a good track record of publications and capabilities for obtaining extramural research funding. Salary will be competitive and commensurate with the applicants’ qualifications.
