To support its research strategy, the Quality & Safety Department at the NRC is seeking a:
Food Safety Microbiologist
who will strengthen expertise in food safety microbiology throughout the Nestlè R&D world. The mission will start with an in-depth 2-year food safety microbiology training as a basis for a transfer into a Nestlè Product Technology Center, a R&D Center or other international Nestlè entities. This training includes exposure to microbiological risk assessment, analytical food safety microbiology, HACCP, factory exposure etc.
Main responsibilities:
• Implementation support of R&D Food Safety Microbiology strategy
• HACCP support and training
• Microbiological risk assessment
• Technical Assistance to markets
Required profile:
• A solid base knowledge in food safety microbiology (minimum MSc level in microbiology; a PhD would be preferable)
• Experience in driving a project and experience in the industry are strong advantages
• Excellent writing and speaking skills in English; knowledge in French would be an advantage
• High geographical mobility: willing to travel and relocate
