Postdoctoral Fellowship - Training in Substance Abuse & Neuroimaging

Summary

Description

A NIH/NIDA sponsored T32 Postdoctoral clinical research training position is available in a productive and stimulating multidisciplinary environment with excellent research, clinical, and training resources. The focus of the training is on brain imaging (EEG, MRI, MRS, fMRI and phMRI), psychiatry, and substance abuse. Ideal applicants will have experience in clinical or behavioral pharmacology, or brain imaging, however the program will be tailored to meet individual needs in order to facilitate the candidate’s transition to independent research. After working with a mentor, the fellow will be trained to develop independent areas of interest and encouraged to submit a grant proposal by the end of the second year of training. Fellowships are available for 2-3 years. Applicants should hold a MD or a PhD in psychology, pharmacology, physics, neuroscience or related field. Minorities and women are strongly encouraged to apply, however the funding mechanism restricts fellowships to U.S. citizens, noncitizen nationals, and permanent residents of the United States only. Start date is negotiable, salary commensurate with experience. Send CV and statement of research interests to:
