Gregory N. Postma
Dr Gregory Postma is the director of the Center for Voice and Swallowing Disorders and a full Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. He completed his residency training at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his fellowship in laryngology at Vanderbilt. Dr Postma's clinical and research interests include voice disorders, professional and singing voice care, dysphagia and associated swallowing disorders, airway surgery and reconstruction, spasmodic dysphonia, extraesophageal and gastroesophageal reflux, and chronic cough. He is a pioneer in the area of in-office surgery, including transnasal esophagoscopy and non-sedated laryngeal and airway laser surgery, and has authored or co-authored more than 70 peer-reviewed publications and 50 chapters and invited articles. He has given 130 presentations on a wide range of laryngologic topics.
Stacey L. Halum
Dr Halum is an Assistant professor of otolaryngology at the Indiana University School of Medicine. She graduated from University of Wisconsin-Madison with a B.S. in Pharmacology-Toxicology in 1995. In 1999, she received her M.D. from the medical College of Wisconsin, and she completed her postgraduate training there in 2004. She then completed a fellowship in Laryngology at Wake Forest University in 2005. Dr Halum is currently the author of over 25 peer-reviewed journal articles, four book chapters, and has given over 15 national presentations on laryngologic topics. Her special interests include nuerolaryngology, dysphagia and office-based laryngeal surgery.
