Brush your Teeth is a national nutrition and oral health education programme for children. It is unique and full of innovative ideas and support materials to enable children to acquire knowledge and understanding about the importance of, and the need for, good oral health care. The programme provides an abundance of support materials and activities that can be quickly and easily accessed by practitioners, school staff and children.

With children in mind the Brush your Teeth programme is beautifully illustrated and looks fun and exciting to use. The user guides gives a clear understanding about the activities practitioners/teachers can do with their children. It will also signpost the user to where they can access relevant information and support materials from the resource CDs in order to deliver the programme with confidence. Many of the suggested activities have a wide range of differentiation in order to accommodate children's needs and abilities.

Children have a natural love for music. The music CD has been produced to help extend and enrich children's knowledge and understanding about good oral health care. Children will naturally use their creative imaginations to make up simple movement responses to express their ideas and feelings and to make up actions that reflect the key messages throughout the songs ie cleaning of their teeth, visiting the dentist, eating and drinking healthy snacks/drinks. Through the use of key vocabulary, rhyming words and fun lyrics this music CD can also help with children's language development.
