The more visible the details in a dental radiograph, the quicker and more precise the diagnosis. Dürr Dental's new VistaPano uses S-Pan technology to provide unrivalled clarity.

With S-Pan technology, an extremely large number of parallel layers are segmented and the system automatically selects the image parts which best match the actual anatomy of the patient. The result is an image with impressive clarity. Since the reconstruction is geared at the actual position of the bite, incorrect positioning is, within reasonable limits, eliminated. This saves the time and means that the patient does not require repeated X-rays.

Radiation safety is also optimised. The VistaPano S can take a panoramic image in just seven seconds meaning patients are exposed to the lowest possible radiation dose. The equipment is also highly intuitive and adapts the dosage according to which of the 17 different programmes is selected.

In addition to the standard panorama programmes, dentists can use options for right, left, and front half-side images and functions for orthogonal bitewing images, mandibular joint images for function diagnostics, and paranasal sinus images.

The intuitive 7'-touch display enables users to quickly and clearly view all settings, facilitating speedy and smooth processing. Face-to-face positioning without mirrors enables direct eye contact between dental staff and patient, thus reducing patient anxiety.

VistaPano S can be used with any imaging package so that all staff members can access the data from their workstations. Using the image files on an iPad can also be achieved with help from the Dürr Dental Imaging app.
