The Editor-in-Chief has retracted this article. After publication, concerns were raised regarding highly similar images in the published figures, specifically:

Fig. 3F and 6C SGC-7901 right side images appear highly similar;

Fig. 4C Cyclin D1 miR-4268 and Fig. 4D Cyclin D1 anti-miR-Control bands appear highly similar.

Additionally, the SGC-7901 and BGC-823 cell lines used in the in vitro experiments have been reported to be contaminated with HeLa, making them an unsuitable model for gastric cancer.

The Editor-in-Chief therefore no longer has confidence in the presented data.
