The BDIA Dental Showcase saw the pre-launch of the O2Vent from OADS in the UK.

The stand was busy, with many dentists eager to learn how the device can benefit their patients. There is much demand for an alternative to the traditional CPAP machine for patients with obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA).

O2Vent offers patients a discreet and comfortable alternative treatment for OSA, allowing them to breathe through their mouth if the nose is blocked. If there is a blockage, air is drawn in thorough the device, allowing it to easily reach the back of the throat. Further to this, the device moves the lower jaw forward, to encourage a more open airway.
