On 19 November, Torrington Dental Practice (TDP) hosted a hip-hop concert on site and raised £320 for MIND, the mental health charity. Exeter-based Samantics blends spoken word, multiple instruments and a loop station to deliver a unique and powerful sound which speaks of his own very personal experiences with mental health.

Fifty members of the TDP team, their friends and family attended the live performance in the practice's reception in addition to spectators watching on Zoom.

Free fluoride varnish for children

The fluoride varnish application clinics are part of the dental group's wider initiative, Clyde Munro Cares. Throughout the last 15 months, Clyde Munro have also been offering virtual preventive sessions with children and their parents.

Clinics are still ongoing, and do not require participants to be registered at Clyde Munro practices.
