BSc (Hons) Dental Studies (Dental Care Professionals): start in January 2021 at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN).

Designed for dental hygienists and dental therapists who currently hold a diploma and are seeking to obtain a degree, this course aims to develop your professional knowledge and skills in a structured higher education environment, with a view to enabling you to take a well-informed and active role in improving the oral health of the population. You will enjoy tuition from a team of academics and dental professionals and have access to high-quality facilities and teaching rooms.

Graduate Cindy Tuer shares her experience:

'This course gave me the opportunity to develop my own professional knowledge and skills and achieve my lifelong personal ambition of degree conversion. The university offered a supportive, caring and flexible learning environment. I particularly enjoyed the small group teaching sessions and development writing, which enabled me to publish my dissertation in the journal Dental Health.

'My studies and experiences have led me to take an evidence-based approach to my professional work and return to the university to complete the MSc in Dental Education. I cannot thank the staff and faculty enough for all their help and support provided throughout my studies.'
