Correction to: International Journal of Obesity https://doi.org/10.1038/s41366-019-0506-x, published online 10 December 2019
In the section “SSBs intake”, the following sentence:
“We defined SSBs-servings (8 oz) according to the following categories: sugar-sweetened carbonated beverages, industrialized juices including added sugar, and industrialized “aguas frescas” including added sugar. These include all beverages subject to the SSBs tax implemented in Mexico in 2014 [16], but exclude homemade and restaurant-made preparations which represent up to 10.5% of SSBs in Mexico [11]”
has been corrected as follows to include all beverages and not just industrialized preparations:
“We defined SSBs-servings (8 oz) according to the following categories: sugar-sweetened carbonated beverages; industrialized juices and “aguas frescas” with added sugar; prepared juices and "aguas frescas" with added sugars made at home or in a food establishment.”
