Since the above publication, the authors have noticed an error in the ‘Results’ section. The sentence:
The prevalence of the major criteria in the other four organ systems did not show significant differences in accordance to gender.
Should read:
The prevalence of fulfilling major cardiovascular criteria was significantly more often present in men (22/31) than in women (24/56, P=0,014). The prevalence of the major criteria in the other four organ systems did not show significant differences in accordance to gender.
