Abstract
Images taken by the Halley Multicolour Camera on board the ESA spacecraft Giotto during its fly-by of comet Halley in March 1986 have been improved by careful calibration and image processing methods. Surface features a few hundred metres in dimension are now visible. Several surface structures are presented in detail and briefly described.
