Abstract
Aerosoled ultrafine iron particles, in the few hundred ångstrom size range, have been subjected to different oxidation modes. X-ray and Mössbauer techniques have been used to study the morphology of the oxide scales and the diminution of the recoilless fractions and the hyperfine fields
