Soft X-ray emission from the vicinity of MV Lyr

Abstract

EVIDENCE is presented for the existence of an X-ray source in the range 0.18–0.43 keV at a location consistent with the position of the ‘nova-like’ variable star MV Lyr. The source, designated H1901+43, was observed by the HEAO-1 A2 experiment1 between 18 and 22 October 1977.
