Correlation between euploid structural chromosome rearrangements and mental subnormality in humans

Abstract

FOR some time cytogeneticists have been concerned with the question of whether structural chromosome rearrangements in humans, while apparently balanced, can have deleterious effects, either physical or mental. I wish to report data which suggest that the latter at least is possible.
